Teen Meal Support


Wednesdays, 12-1 PM, virtual teen meal support group with Registered Dietitian Tiffany Queen.

  • Interrupting harmful behaviors. We can help discourage behaviors such as skipping meals, restricting portions, excessive food rituals, or compensatory behaviors after eating.

  • Modeling healthy eating habits. Eating together and demonstrating a balanced, flexible approach to food can help normalize meals and challenge distorted beliefs about eating.

  • Offering emotional support and accountability. We listen without judgment to help teens feel less isolated and stay on track with their recovery goals.

  • Building confidence over time. As a teenager practices eating with support, meals may gradually become less distressing, allowing them to develop greater independence.
